Exhibitions

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to exhibit my artwork at a variety of events. Through the support of the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council and the Oxford Artists Guild, I have been able to showcase my work more frequently and connect with a broader audience. In addition, my artwork is currently on display at a couple of locations in Oxford, allowing me to share my creative vision with the local community.

  • Promotional poster for the Sanctuary Arts Festival 2024 featuring artist Lynn Ingram. The design includes a central portrait of Lynn Ingram writing, surrounded by framed art, a classical sculpture bust, and text detailing the event at Paragon Bank, Oxford, Mississippi on August 1st at 6pm.

I was honored to be invited to participate in the Sanctuary Arts Festival in Oxford, produced by the Mississippi Presenters Network. The festival brought together twelve artists from across Mississippi to showcase their work and share the stories behind their creative journeys. In addition to exhibiting our work, each participating artist was interviewed for a podcast and will be featured in Oxford Magazine over the coming year. It was a meaningful opportunity to connect with fellow artists, celebrate Mississippi's vibrant creative community, and share my work with a broader audience.

  • Country store in North Carolina

This is my favorite piece of art because I used it to tell my story. This ink drawing is based on Priddy's General Store in Danbury, North Carolina. I included the cracker barrel where people gathered to play checkers, the bench where neighbors would sit and discuss the weather, and the barn in the distance to represent the area's farming heritage. These details reflect the way local farmers came to the store to buy seed, trade goods, and catch up with friends and neighbors.

I also added a 1956 Ford truck, although in reality it would have been much more worn from years of hard work on the farm. Together, these elements capture the spirit of a simpler time and the important role the general store played as the heart of the community.
